Today’s announcement provides great third party validation of what we have believed all along - even when unemployment was at an all-time low - that by investing in the skill development of our workforce we can create pathways to upward career mobility. We have immensely enjoyed working with our customers to develop a classroom to career pathway that can rapidly improve the future prospects of the individuals and communities that we collectively serve.
We are building what we believe can be a scalable model for workforce development by working with the manufacturing industry, workforce development, the 2-year college system and the K-12 education system in the state of Alabama. We participated in the launch of JumpStart Alabama, a coordinated statewide initiative to bring cutting edge workforce development resources to job seekers, which we believe is a model that every state can benefit from. JumpStartAL has deployed hands-on, skills-based training at various job sites, 2-year colleges and high school classrooms around the state.. And we continue to be inspired by our partners at AIDT and the ACCS who strive to serve the individuals in the communities they serve as well as their business and industry partners.
We look forward to expanding with our partners in 10 other states in 2021.
We’re on a mission, to create alternative pathways for people to achieve career success. In doing so we’re building a classroom to career pipeline for job seekers and employers. Today’s announcement is a step in the right direction that puts us in the position to deliver on our mission.
We’re grateful for the confidence our investors have shown in us, and we’re very excited to fulfill the opportunity that’s ahead of us.
